Quilts of Valor

For many years now, the organization Quilts of Valor has been spearheading the project of getting a quilt to wounded US soldiers and this year many fabric companies are getting on board.

You will begin to see a new push of patriotic fabric lines and patterns that promote this endeavor and if you are interested in making one or many to donate, here is the link for all you need to know.

Additionally, if you are new to quilt-making or have never made one and would like to take part in this, please contact your nearest or favorite quilt shop to see if they are planning to participate.

Bright Hopes Quilting in Mandeville, LA is going to be receiving fabric shortly and plan a sew day..... in anticipation, I have made this quilt which will be one of several to go on display at the shop.

When I get a better shot of it, I'll repost the picture.

One last thing...... Moda is also sponsoring this as well and has this to offer, Just One Star...check it out.
